More Than 70 Teams Already Registered as New Supporting Partners Join One of Beach Volleyball’s Most Historic Events
HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. — August 27, 2026 — The countdown is on for the 2026 Wedbush Hermosa Beach Volleyball Open, as player registration officially closes on Thursday, September 3. With just one week remaining to enter, 71 men’s and women’s teams have already registered to compete for the tournament’s $150,000 prize purse during four days of elite competition on the iconic Hermosa Beach Pier courts, September 10–13.
As one of the premier independent tournaments in professional beach volleyball, the Wedbush Hermosa Beach Volleyball Open continues to attract Olympians, sport standouts, international competitors and rising stars from around the world, all competing in the birthplace of beach volleyball.
