Matches all day north of the pier. Same evening south of the pier, Hermosa Beach Friends of the Parks hosts Movies at the Beach: event starts at 6:00 p.m.; movie at twilight, about 7:45 p.m. Title to be announced. Details at hermosamovies.com
Sunday 13
SEMIS, FINALS, PLUS A CONCERT
Matches begin 8:30 a.m. PT
Finals north of the pier. City Concert Series south of the pier at 3:00 p.m. — Magic!, with Auner Garcia Collective and Katt Hall. Free. Come for one or both.
How to get there

Courts: walk north of the pier onto the sand.
Movie and concert: walk south of the pier.
Getting here: walking, biking, rideshare, or coming along the Strand from Manhattan Beach or Redondo Beach.
Parking
No special street closures or event parking arrangements are expected. Use normal Hermosa Beach parking and arrival options. Walking, biking, or the Strand remain the simplest ways in on a September weekend.
How to enjoy it
Choose a court, take a spot on the sand, and move if a match gets interesting. Stay for an hour or stay all day.
On Saturday, watch the matches and then walk south of the pier for Movies at the Beach.
On Sunday, finals are north of the pier and the City Concert Series (Magic!) is south of the pier at 3:00 p.m. Both are free. Come for one or both.
The sand is hot by noon. Bring something to sit on.

SATURDAY MOVIE, SOUTH OF THE PIER
Bring a blanket or low-back chair, and your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. No alcohol. Dogs are not permitted on the beach.
